The Top in Industry employers are elected by a pool of students, electing their Ideal Employers in the Universum Student Survey. This year, over 9,000 Swiss students participated the Universum Student Survey.
The Top in Industry winners are the highest ranked employers in their industries.

• Insurance: Swiss Re

Alpiq is one of the companies that gained most in rankings this year: 125 ranking positions gained looking at Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences and IT rankings together.
“The Alpiq case shows that planning before acting gives fantastic results,” said Ms. Nelly Riggenbach Hasler, Director DACH at Universum Communications.
Alpiq has been known by that name for only three years, but since the beginning “they did things right,” Riggenbach Hasler said. “Alpiq applied an employer branding strategy with a clearly defined employer value proposition.
